As 2005 passed, and the event of early 2005 became a more distant memory, out meeting attendance dropped from 20-30 parents per meeting to only 1-2 parents. 

Salem Safe Kids was created in response to a series of incidents involving the children of our community. 

As parents, we rallied, got the word out, and made a measurable impact.  Much thanks to all community members who helped.

Salem Safe Kids will continue as a web-based resource- listing offenders, providing on-line resources and notifying members of the community of events as-needed through our email distribution.
